I am the newest of noobs here for Xerox, and also I currently have seen exactly zero Xerox wide format printers.
For what it is worth though, based on what I've seen on the machines I have worked on for some time, there most likely is a buildup of toner in the paper path somewhere before the fuser. From what I've seen it is usually is somewhere around the drum, and if you are able to vacuum that area with a vacuum that can handle toner, and can do that without damaging the drum (wide format drums are very expensive to replace) it will probably provide you with temporary relief. Then you just have to find out why that toner was there.

u have to clean charge grid and corotron, or replace it.
