DC260 ibt belt 042-326

Hi All,
Am having problems with a dc260 (same as dc250) whereby keep getting the 042-326 code, am having to keep putting new patches on the belt to get it going for a while.
So far have cleaned the sensor, patch, replaced the patch, done belt edge learns, reset the nvm 741-105.
Have now replaced the belt but it SEEMS as though the standard patch on the belt isn't reflective enough so have put a new "temporary" patch on to get it going but know this won't last long before having to put a new "temporary" patch on - and so on.
Am I missing something?
Does the machine have some form of memory for the reflective aspect of the sensor that needs to be reset?
Any help would be appreciated.

May be isn't the patch the problem.

Just shy of 1.2 million of which nearly 450k are colour.

Probably the IBT assy is from begining of machine.
What about the drive roller which drive the belt. May be there is a slip.

Have tried cleaning the rollers already, it hasn't made any difference.
Being a new belt as well it seems very slightly tighter than the old belt (changed because of this issue) then the springs on the tentioning rollers tighten to factory set amount.
The only thing that seems to make a difference is the patch.
Have cleaned the belt edge and reflective sensor as well.

Is there any procedure to reset anything other than 741-105 nvm when the ibt belt is changed to tell the machine it's a new belt?

No, you need to perform Adj9.8 - registration control setup after belt edge learn.

if the belt learn doesnt work check the itb rubber rollers on the both ends id the rubber is rubbed off or spot of is off then its time to replace the rollers or the itb assembly.
