[Misc] Xerox WorkCentre 7655 Yellow toner bltches

I have a WC 7655 that leaves yellow toner blotches on the bottom of printed sheets as well as dumping toner during printing. I can clean all the excess toner from the machine and make perfect copies but as soon as I have a print job sent to it, it leaves the yellow toner on the printed copies. My first thought was to replace the yellow developer unit but since it only has the problem during print functions, I thought I would see if anyone has seen this before.

Try to install another driver version into your computer.

do you mean that you have toner dumping in the copier ?
what exactly do you mean that it dumps toner only when you print and not when you copy?

Toner blotches is usually due to a worn drum unit. To determine if this is the case, swap the yellow drum with the magenta drum. If you start getting magenta blotches then you know its a bad drum unit.

what exactly do you mean that it dumps toner only when you print and not when you copy?

I can make copies, using the ADF or platen, and the copies are perfect with no toner dumping (leaking) inside the machine. However, when the machine is sent a print job it has yellow toner on the the paper that was printed (black print job) and yellow toner is all over the inside of machine. The toner on paper and leaking/dumping only happens during printing and not copying.

You can try to reload the software on net controller only.
What sw version is actual on the machine ?

the copier engine does not know the difference between print and copy so it is imposible for it to leak toner only on prints
absolutly impossible
if its leaking toner and yellow only then its the toner or drum or developer and nothing else

You're right, but it's only in case of really leaking toner, yet it can be driver misinterpretation of print data.

Swap drums around like has been said, I cant see how it can leak toner only when you print to it never come across this but then Ive come across some weird stuff.
