093-937 Toner cartridge crum y authentication data is different

Good day. xerox 7775. giving me an error on yellow cartridge, tried to put 3 different new ones in and still getting the error. the machine says 093-937 Toner cartridge crum y authentication data is different in the error logs. I took a part the front where the toner cartridge crumbs are, i swapped the k1&c Crumb PWB with the M&Y crumb PWB to see if it was that, and I still got the error for the Yellow. so I then checked the p/j414(a9-a11) with pj172(2-4) for continuity and they were in the right range. the manual is saying ned change the MCU PWB, but that is very expensive. is there any other suggestions you guys can offer? or is there a chip on the board itself i can look at which could be causing this?

Try a nvm init before change MCU.
And post the correct error code.

thanks for reply. just did the NVM INIT. after reboot still comes with "YELLOW TONER Y IS NOT COMPATIBLE" but now all the error logs are cleared. and there is no error in the history.

Try a nvm init before change MCU.
And post the correct error code.

oh the error code is still 393-937 i use a docucolor 252 service manual so it is 093-937 in that.

May be the tension for power supply is not in normal range.
Check for proper 5, 3.3 , 12 volts

May be toner chip cant communicate with crum pwb in the proper way and the cause is the wrong voltages

ok, where exactly do i check voltages? also. even when the toner is not in, it is saying the same thing, i reset the nvm with all toner cartridges out and it is still saying (TONER Y IS NOT COMPATIBLE) as if it is not realizing that the toner is not in. the other toners when they are out only says (RE-SEAT TONER CARTRIDGES) but this machine is still thinking the Y is in when it is out. i swapped the CRUM PWB with (K1 and C) as this is the (m and Y) CRUM PWB and it made no difference, i would figure if it was the CRUM when i swapped, then it should show that the cyan is now having problems. I changed to Toner dispenser also to see if maybe the one that's in isn't allowing signal to be processed properly but same thing.

Check voltages on MCU pwb because the crum pwb's receive the voltages from there..
If you disconnect pj414 from mcu the error message is change ?

with pj414 disconnected its saying the same thing. and of course it would say close the front upper door also since it's disconnected.

At least the 24 volts interlock is working.
If the power supply voltages on MCU pwb are ok then probably you need to replace this board as the edoc procedure say.
For last resort you can try to reload software on machine before replacing MCU pwb.
Try to use same version of software that is at present on to machine in such way the others electronic boards remain at same level of sw. version.

At least the 24 volts interlock is working.
If the power supply voltages on MCU pwb are ok then probably you need to replace this board as the edoc procedure say.
For last resort you can try to reload software on machine before replacing MCU pwb.
Try to use same version of software that is at present on to machine in such way the others electronic boards remain at same level of sw. version.

The new activation code provided by Xerox enables themachine to accept non-metered toner in future.
