    Xerox 7755 377-909 jam codes

I have a Xerox 7755 with 377-909 jam codes. It jams about every 10 or 12 copies from all trays except the bypass. I swopped the registration and pre-registration sensors and cleaned all the rollers in the registration unit and vertical transport. Any ideas?

    Problem:
Fault code 377-909 is declared, the RAP directs you to check many sensors, if sensors are ok then change MCU. The MCU was replaced but fault code still present.

    Cause:

Dirty or broken sensor not mentioned in the RAP

The RAP is incomplete, Before change MCU please follow tips #614095 and #965140 for Docucolor 250 family whit error code 77-909. You will found the diagnostic code indicating which sensor is causing the fault.

1 - Enter UI diagnostics and go to NVM read/write (DC131).
2 - Read chain link 742-065. The value of this location is the chain link code for the sensor that the system last detected actuated.
3 - Using the attached diagram check the sensor indicated. An example would be: 742-065=94202 (94-202).
4 - Using component control check the sensor indicated.

Note: If the sensor indicated by location 742-065 is functioning, check the sensor before and the sensor after the indicated sensor.
