Xerox 700i ui touch not responding

Good Morning all,

Happy New Year

I start my new year with a call from a customer that the touch screen on the 700i
is not responding. check and found no faults to troubleshoot take down and clean touch screen componets still no change. I was hoping some one had the same or similar problem and be able to give help on how to solve.

Check out posts about DC 250 touch screens.
What you have to do is to use hot air around frame of touch screen.

interfacep a member on this forum had a video on how to fix it. i did it and worked for me, carefully take a part, apply heat with a good heat gun for about 30 sec. took care of problem.
