    WC5150 clicking and message to power down but would not do so...........

    WC5150 with clicking sound and message to power down. Unable to do so. Had to unplug. Rebooted and machine went into ready and went thru fax setup as per display messages. When "services" is pressed it no longer shows scan feature which customer had was using prior to call. Please advise. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

      Watch the boot process using altboot.
      Probably you need to reload controller software.
