A really annoying and time/paper wasting problem has occurred with my DC242 when using high capacity feeder tray. When doing greetings cards, manual duplex, I got a miss-feed when printing side two. Opened drawer to reposition miss feed sheet. After closing the drawer, DC242 decides to print side one on top of side two and then requests that the sheets be removed from the output tray and reinserted upside down in the tray (which obviously had already been done) - then it continues to print side two - until the next miss-feed .

Only solution I found to resolve it is to put a blank (or wasted) sheet on top of the pile and wait till it refreshes itself, prints the wrong side and then start on the right side.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Fix the missfeed problem of HCF or rewrite the machine software for works as you whish.
