[Misc] DC250 Streaks in C-M-Y Prints

    Hi Guys,

Need some expert advice before I go stripping my machine to fix this, I have a white line in C-M-Y Print picture will give you an idea, The yellow print has a slightly lighter line which cant be seen in the picture, I've read a lot about the ros mirrors needing cleaning but then also about the drums needing replacing I'm a newbie to these machines so any help is greatly appreciated.

    CMYK Test Print Xerox Dc250.jpg

    Regards,
    Damien

i would check the mag roller sometimes toner or foreign gets caught in the doctor blade and scrapes against the mag roller creating a void area or the ros windows have dirt on either the inside or outside cleaning them may help. Start with removing the top cover over the developer unit once remove you can see the mag roller and if the brush on the mag roller is even and uniform the check the ros units. good luck
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

I am a Xerox noob, and even worse I have no training on that model. So what follows could be a pointless waste of time.
Still, you might want to check the area in the machine where the image gets transferred to the paper for defects. At least if that line shows up in the same area on the prints most of the time.
