    Xerox DC 470

I have a DC 470 with the error code 09-584. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance

    09-584

any 09 code on a xerox is some form of xerographic fault...09-584 says there have been two consecutive occurrences of 09-310 / 09-314 /09-316/09-318/09-320/09-324

    what have you done?
    changed the Xerographic module?
    Dev assembly?
    Dev drive?

This machine is on a customers site, after posting this I telephoned him and he said that he restarted it and it was ok. I know that he hasn't changed Xerographic module or anything else because he is on contract and hasn't got one.

        09-584 is not fault code
it mean "please wait... adjustments are in progress"

machine could not finish xerographic setup at startup,

your customer have to check fault tab to se real fault code

          odds are....it will come back....I'd stand-by with a module..rather than play chase the 09-code....TTFN

Thanks for that, I am not very familiar with the DC470 but they seem to be pretty reliable.

When I first fitted this module, I had to have about 3 go's before it worked. Since then, the customer has done about 50,000 on it.
