In fact, I prefer 1.1 software.
When you load 1.2 software you must load all the patches, otherwise you will face bad image quality.

I had similar problem recently on DC 250. Couldn't reload software on Fiery. In my case it eas problem with power supply on fiery, but there could be many other reason.

Sorry for taking so long to get back. After I got the software from you I switched on the fiery and the power supply pretty much exploded- twice!!!

I hadn't even connected the crossover cable or switched the dip switches. Just rotten luck. Got a new psu now and ran the cds last night and IT WORKED.
One thing I noticed with the 1.2 installation was that the very first stage was titled "creating partitions". I had definitely not seen that before. Maybe that's why you can't go back from 1.2 to previous systems.
Anyway thanks a million for that. It's a life saver and a relief that I wasn't going mad.

Did you try to reload with other laptop?
I had problems with several laptops, Antivirus programs, you should also disable WiFi...

As far as I remember version 1.1 and 1.2 are for DC 250, and you're talking about DC 260 which has other software.
So, please let me know what machine we are talking about.

I have 1.2 just need some time to put it on my server for you. this is bustled you're looking for, right?

I don't suppose you still have the bustled software 1.1 or 1.2 to share? I have tried to load v1.0 onto 2 fiery units with 3 new discs but it always fails at 733kb. I have heard that if the fiery was previously on a newer version you can't go back to 1.0. I came into these fiery units at the 260 and they always reload with no problem, as do Ricoh, canon etc.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Any version i get will be ok and i know whoever can discuss bustled would likely have the external software in their possession.

This thread isn't for EXP software, but for bustled.
Also when looking for exp, you must know software version. There are v1.1 and v1.01
