I have just bought an used Xerox WC 7545 but the machine can not detect the finisher. Anybody has a service manual or direct me how to connect propely the finisher to the machine. Thanks a lot.

The finisher is plug and and play. Make sure you have the horizontal transport unit installed in the cavity below the scanner. The horizontal transport plugs into the finisher and the finisher plugs into the back of the machine along with the finisher power cord. -

I found out that the finisher is broke.Is there anyway to eliminate the finisher from the memory of the machine so that the machine would start up without the need of having the finisher connected to it?
I would really appreciate the help.

Power the machine off, remove the finisher (and H-Transport unit if not the integrated finisher) then power back on. The machine won't see the finisher at power on and it will run without it.Comment
