fiery installation problems

• EXP250 FOR XEROX DC250
  
  when i try ro install the system software
  and when i pass
  1 delete all setting
  2 in fiery screen start fdisk formatting
  3 the installation beginning
  
  after 2 hours I still have the same message on the server screen and the server not ask for the 2 disk and the external screen in black with - flashing
  
  
  any one can help ???
  
  i replaced the dvd rom to another IDE dvd rom
  and I have sata 160G HDD

HDD is likely bad.
