    Printing Error

I just replaced the toner in my Xerox Phaser 3635 MFP, it is now printing ugly, repetitive blotches on one side of the paper. Does this sound like a problem with the new cartridge? Or could it be technical with the machine. I shook the cartridge prior to installing it. I inspected the machine and the cartridge and there's nothing glaring. It's out of warranty so I can't deal with Xerox without a charge.

remove the toner cartridge again and check the charge roller, when you pulled out the orange stripe of plastic you left a little piece of it on the charge roller. thats it.
