xerox 700 software version

good day, looking to install xerox 700 software on my 700 as it is showing 0.0.0.0, my old software version is 54.42.0, and that's 3.1, but the tech says the only thing on the xerox page is showing 3.0,3.2, and 3.7, he is hesitant on putting any newer or older software as he want to install the exact one which was there. is it possible to install 3.7 and not screw up machine? running creo server. he can't ask his supervisors as it could get him in trouble so was told to ask you guys. thanks

I called him, got his answering machine left message. And I pm him from this site and haven't gotten a response from him as yet.

Yes he does. My old sys software was 54.42.0 I think and he wanted to keep everything as how it was bscore proble occurred. He said he was concerned that if something happened and he isn't supposed to be working on machine that he cant call cerox for assistance, that's why he is hesitant of putting a different version of software on. That's what he told me at least. He actually had a next tech from Xerox with him also and that's what they decided.

am I able to put 3.2 on it then or 3.7? They can't find 3.1 on Xerox site. Just 3.0, 3.2 and 3.7. What is your opinion? Thanks

If you are willing to pay I can provide you 3.1 software version.
But also 3.2 is good. 3.7 is version for 700i and have some nvm's changes. You can upgrade to 3.7 after the machine will be errors free.

I talked to Milo and he said he will come to you and upgrade to 700i.
