Hi, In my region we have this machine thats giving of an error that relates to the scanner / ccd module not working. Machine can't copy or scan. We had to replace the flat cables and the inverter / IIT board which fixes the fault. We have loads of this machines on the field and having the same faults with almost all of them after months of use. My question is has there been any upgrade / modified units / technical solutionshto this model of xerox, relating to scanner faults?

There's some reference to this in the service bulletins I have access to. Mostly just says the connections are known to be loose which is causing the communication error. The go on to say Reseat the connectors on the ITT which in most of my cases only works temporarily. I end up replacing the ribbon cables which normally fixes the issue. No mods that I can see.
