    Remove the paper feed roller assembly. Check the condition of the bottom most roller. It should appear white like the other 2 rollers. If is is turning black / clear or has flat spots, replace the feed roller assembly. (part # 113R00718) Just past the feed roller assembly are 2 black rubber rollers. Clean these 2 rollers with some sort of rubber cleaning fluid.

    Clean the roller wheels and the inside of the feeder with a little cleaner, if that doesnt help, get new feeder wheels.
    make sure there is nothing jamming the feeder in the document output, large piles of paper are know to cause jams every other page for example.

    5687 doc feeder problem

    Jams in feeder 5-6 inches in . Was intermittant now every page. Any tips?
