I am getting a "belt homing took too long" in the faults section of a WC7655.
When I followed the instructions for examining (removing) the IBT. After extending the fuser drawer to maximum and pressing the bypass lock on the rails. I also released the transfer unit drawer latch, and The IBT latch.
It said to remove two screws on the left and right side of the IBT pull out
drawer. There were two screws (one on the left and one on the right) inside the black plastic drawer covering. The picture in the service manual is not very clear. There are two screws to the extreme edge of the drawer outside the black plastic and into the frame(one on the left and one on the right).
These screws are so tight, when I tried to remove them, I started to strip the head of the screws with the Phillips screwdriver.
Since these screws are also Hex Head I am going to use a socket set to remove them, but before I do. I would some confirmation they are the right screws to remove.
Thanks in advance
