Docucolor 250 shows error code 65-216 and doesn't go to powersave

    [Error Code] Docucolor 250 shows error code 65-216 and doesn't go to powersave

    Hi All! My Docucolor 250 shows error code 65-216 and does not go to powersave mode. The machine is running ok but the error won't go. Please help!

      Service manual lists this as a memory dimm fault in the scanner/iit or mem ext pwb

          You are right. But is there any nvm code to reset it? The printer is printing just fine. I can also scan from the platen. Only the powersave mode won't work. Another thing, if I power on and off for some number of times the error automatically goes away only to resume again the next time I power the machine on. Can any wire be lose?

              Take out the IIT/IPS and check to see if the DIMM is properly seated.

              IF you look at the rear of the printer there are two cables connected in the back. That's the IIT/IPS, remove the screws and pull it strait out.

                  Hi InterfaceP! I did just that and it seemed everything was in place. If I restart the printer a couple of times the error goes away to resume again at the next restart.
