[Misc] Xerox Dc240 plus Light Production Finisher?

Hello all

I've purchased a Light production finisher from a 242 and it's on it's way, but i realised that maybe it won't be compatible i've been searching thru the manuel of the machine and it doesn't show the Light Production Finisher as an option.

Please Help to figure it out if its compatible or not.

Not sure about LPF, but remember when had to add OHCF to DC 250 series had to upgrade Fiery controller.

In the European market the serial number should start with DUA. This is compatible with the 242 Family. If the serial number starts with DTX it is for N. America markets. Any other serial numbers go to different models.

Thank you all for your time and knowledge.

I've bought the LFP here in Europe and it came off a 252.

It should arrive late next week, but I realized "lately" that 240 and 242 are different.
Today I instaled the drivers for the 242 252 260 and printed with them on my 240 with my high capacity feeder and professional finisher and it worked the prints are perfect.
But xerox technicians here in Portugal said the chance is remote that the LFP will work on the 240.

I'm keeping my fingers cross
Last case scenario I will have to sell my 240 and buy a 242 or 252, to use the LFP

My luck are all of you members of copyte honey that thru these years always give me good advice.

If anyone as 240 and a LFP could give a try and inform if it works so I could sleep better a night.
