[Misc] Xerox 5645 Will not come to "Ready"

Greetings to all, My name is Steve. And today I am faced with a problem ...Xerox 5645. Once turned on, It will Only initialize. It will not come to Ready. How can I re-boot this machine to erase or get into the System's Service mode to see what is causing this? What do I need to perform prior to this? Everything was inspected....Tnak you in advance, Steve

Information that I have is that It "does" have the corded connection from the lower side to the back of the scanner. I am still finding out what version of Software it is using. I will keep you informed....Steve

Most common cause is the network controller dont boot-up.
Corupted net controller software, bad hdd, bad power supply of the controller, defective ram simm memory.
There is a diagnostic software named altboot to check the status of the controller and reload the software.
Two major software version xx.113.xxxx or xx.120.xxxx
