    Somehow the drum is loosing charge I would guess. Try hard stopping during cycle up or down and see if the drum has background. You didn't mention that the cq is being affected, so the problem is either between copies or during up or down cycles.

    Are you installing a new waste container or do you empty and reuse the container?
    If you empty it, make sure you are cleaning the clear window on the top. The sensor uses this window to "look through" to detect waste toner level. If there is dust on the inside of the window it will trigger the machine to tell you it is full.
    It seems to be filling up with Cyan waste toner as the Cyan is running out quickly and the customer is using new waste toner cartridges. Strange huh...

    Is the waste toner container filling with Cyan toner or a mix of colors (greyish)?
    Are you installing a new waste container or do you empty and reuse the container?
    If you empty it, make sure you are cleaning the clear window on the top. The sensor uses this window to "look through" to detect waste toner level. If there is dust on the inside of the window it will trigger the machine to tell you it is full.

    This printer is filling up the waste toner and Cyan is running out quickly. (about 1000 copies) I have cleaned everything including the CIS below the drum. I am thinking I need to change the Cyan developer. Any ideas would be very helpful... Thanks so much
