Hello, I would need restoration software for DC250 (with rip creo), does anyone know where to download it?

It has a build in recovery feature and a factory image on one of its hdd's so the recovery procedure is performed without the use of external media.
Ive never seen any re-install discs for this controller. which is a shame since i have one sitting here with broken disks

is not possible, there must be a software installation, you put on a USB key and a procedure boot reinstall everything

So are you trying to reinstall the iot or the creo controller?
for the iot you can just put a dlm on a usb stick in an upgrade folder and it will update. The controller is much more work.

That not work on DC250 even in WC76xx - these are old machines without capacity to reload software from usb stick.

For machine software reload you need pws tool and, of course, the firmware version.
For Scitex Creo controller, there is a hidden partition on a system hdd which contain the factory image of the Creo software. Don't try to reinstall Win OS on sys. hdd because you will destroy this image.

thanks adriansto , there is a way to clone the hd? with regard to the printer as you upgrade to ver. v1.231.15? and where do I find this upgrade?
