DC430 with large void across top of page

Customer has DC430 with large void about 2-3 inches across page. Imaging unit was changed and optics okay. Any help/suggestions appreciated. Void at rear side of machine. Frank/ActionPhocotopy

I don't know the DC430 but my first step would be to try to get some kind of internal print out of the machine like a config sheet or test pattern to see if the void was being created from the scanner, IIT (like in copy mode) or from the IOT (like in print mode) then continue from there.

Thanks Tom. I should have thought of that. I will check that out when i go back. Both the WC7328 and the DC430 are at same location. I'll post results when done . Frank
