    Xerox 7655 Print Calibration Error

This error appears inmediatly after reading the 2 print calibration target pages.

I already try to reset to factory the calibration values and make again the printing calibration process with the same result ( error in calibration )
I need to make the printing calibration because all images that i print have a magenta color shift
Atached is my Print calibration target page that prints my machine.
    Thanks for your adviceTarget.jpg

Need a calibration from service mode first.
What software version is on the machine:
    40.032.xxxxx or 40.033.xxxxx ?

Adj 9.3, 9.5, 9.6 but is very good to have service manual and follow those procedures.

Inside Service Mode i have only the following routines inside adjustments :

          dc129 System Registration
          dc131 NVM Read/Write
          dc301 NVM Initialization
          dc527 DADF Size Detection
          dc671 Measurement Cycle
          dc673 Control sensor check
          dc675 Registration control setup
          dc740 MSI side guide adjustment
dc919 Color Balance Adjustment ( this routine only allows to change color settings for each color - low - medium - high actually all is in ceros )
          dc924 TRC Manual Adjust
          dc937 PCON on/off print
          dc945 IIT calibration
          dc950 ATC Sensor
          dc956 Belt Edge Learn
          dc991 Tone Up/Down

I will really apreciate if you can tell me which routines i need to run

          Thank you very much !

Re: Xerox 7655 Print Calibration Error

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I am having a similar problem.

Over the years, I've had one of my WC76xx series machines fail to calibrate for a number of reasons.

              1) Dirty copier mirrors. This one was tricky, because I never copy anything. The ONLY time I use the "copier" part of the machine is when I am running the calibration routine. But removing the platten glass and cleaning the mirrors has resolved failures of the calibration routine for me dozens of times.

              2) Weak black. Occasionally after a long job that uses little to no black, the black developer will become starved from rotating so much without much fresh toner flowing through. This usually clears itself up reasonably quickly once you're printing a job with black in it, but if you try to calibrate while it is still kind of wishy-washy with the black, it will fail. A trick for this one is to use a black Sharpie marker to darken the black square in the upper left order of BOTH calibration pages. Just that one square only. Leave the rest alone. Apparently the calibration routine will look to that square and if it isn't dense enough, will fail the routine. This can also happen if your black developer assembly is getting WAY too old and not producing a good black anymore.

But my oldest 7675 hasn't been calibrating for months now... And I can't for the life of me figure out why. All test routines report good, the density tests in ProCon are all extremely close to target, the actual color print quality is really really good, even. But since I can't calibrate, if it is a little off, I can't correct it. Black is not weak and I've throughly cleaned the mirrors.

So I'm just using this machine as a B&W machine right now, even though the color quality is really really good. (Just not calibrated enough to run paying jobs on it.)

Does anyone have any kind of idea what could cause the calibration failure when all parameters look to be in very good standing?

              Thanks!
