3635 with second side lead edge background

Anybody have any experience with second side only background? Duplex module is clean. Changed the cartridge. Searched for any second side nvm setting - no luck there either. Using the glass, or the dh to run 5 single side copies - no problem for the first side. Does not appear to be picking up loose toner. Seems like a xerographic problem. Any ideas?
Thankx in advance for any replys.

    Can you provide a sample?

Does it happen with both prints / reports & copies?

Turns out it was the cartridge. We rebuild ours, and evidently we are doing something wrong or some of the components aren't up to snuff. Put an OEM cartridge in and all is fine. We lower the laser intensity (on the 3635) to lower the density because the toner we use is a tad dark, but never noticed the slight amount of background on the duplexed side (of this 3550), which is page 1. Was unable to adjust the laser on the 3550, so the OEM was left in.

      Thankx for the reply Exok.
