I have a Xerox ColorQube, with the error code 099-689.

The 93 code is most likely contaminated ink. Check the ink loader and make sure the right ink is in the proper channel. The other code is for a sensor in the ink melt reservoir. Replacing the ink melt reservoir should take care of both codes.
