[Misc] Xerox 242 ADF scanner issue, image shifted 0.5"

I have a DC 242 with an ADF scanning issue. When copies are made the image is shifted 0.5" to the left. If i use the flatbed however images print without the shift.

Is there a way to calibrate the ADF alignment?

A manual image shift adjustment can be made at the time of copying but I would like a solution to avoid using this workaround.

I believe there is a mechanical adjustment to be made. Anyone familiar with this?

I believe this machine should have separate registration setup for both flatbed and ADF modes. Usually it can be found in service engineer mode.

I have been searching the service engineer mode and can't find it, driving me nuts!

ADF Lead edge registration side 1:
In service mode enter NVM read/write
          711-140 sets this registration. Min=0 Default=122 Max=244. Adjusting this value by 25 points = about 1mm.

ADF Lead edge registration side 2: NVM 711-141.

ADF Side registration side 1: NVM 715-110 & 715-272 (change both at the same time, both values need to be the same)

ADF Side registration side 2: NVM 715-111 & 715-274 (change both at the same time, both values need to be the same)

Thanks a million Exok! I will give this try tomorrow.
