Xerox workcentre 6505 replace transfer unit

"the problem is the following: i replaced transfer unit and in service mode - printer diag - parameter - Life DTB waste
Use the Initialize selection to reset the life counter for the Transfer Unit .
after restart , i get message "Replace transfer unit"
What i do wrong?"

I have the same problem with my workcentre 6505 and i don't know where is the problem. Please help me about this printer step by step.

This is a software problem. You must upgrade the engine software and once you do, you will be able to reset the counter. There are 2 software files. Network & engine. You can upgrade both but only engine software will fix it.
