hi guys,
i have pws in my laptop and want to reinstall network printer 5675
when i install cross cable and comport for connencting network in alternate boot this message show to me and not connected
btw i use usb to com port for my lap top and its working

To connect to a 5676 with your laptop you need to use a crossover cable connected to the network port. Set your laptop's IP address close to the 5675's IP. (ex. 5675 IP=192.168.1.10, set your laptop to 192.168.1.11). You will be able to log on to the machine's web UI by entering the 5675's IP address into your web browser.

Depending on the version of your 5675 (single board controller aka Tag40 or multiboard controller aka Non Tag40 the one with the controller in a box attached to the back of the copier) there are different ways to AltBoot.

Non Tag 40 machines require the AltBoot tool and a video cable connected between the controller and your laptop as well as the crossover cable.

Tag 40 machines you can use a USB stick. Create a folder on the USB stick named "altboot" and place the unzipped DLM file in it. Power the machine off, plug in the USB stick, power back on and wait for software to load.
