[Misc] DC 250 - Black copy very pale. Black's powder accumulation before the black dev roll.

    (french version on bottom)

    Hi everybody.

I have some trouble wtih my dc 250.

The black copy are very pale. I think I have some trouble with the black's dev. powder or with the dev roll. The reciever (on the black's dev. roll) is full unlike the 3 others (cyan - magenta - yellow) please see the attachment pictures

My question is to known, where the trouble come from. I suppose thant the evacuation of powder is not made. Can be a motor trouble, but I don't have any error code ? Just change the black drum ? No more black's dev. powder causing accumulation of powder in the reciever ? Something else ?

Thank you for anwser or suggestion.

    Best regards.

My first thought is that you probably have something broken in the black developer housing that is not allowing the auger to turn. Your toner dispenser wants to add more toner to the developer but since the auger is not spinning, no toner can enter the housing and its getting backed up.

Install a new black developer housing with fresh developer. Vacuum the toner dispenser to make sure it is not clogged now.

      Thanks for your answer.

I afraid that your right. I opened the housing of black dev and it was full. The brush is running when I turn the "notched wheel" like anticlockwise (from right to left), and nothing passed when i turn the otherside.

I change (to be sure) the black drum cartbridge, but nothing going well.

I come back to you when i change the housing.
