Help me remove screen from GR3770 Drum

Newbie here - just bought a GR3770 today and trying to clean out the gummy drums.

Question: How do I remove this piece? See picture.

Any other tips would be great, too. Cheers!

    Frank

hey frank, if it works anything like my standard SD630 it's more of a long bar clamp that holds the master onto the drum unit. you can clean the inside of the pinching mech with a very damp cloth and maybe some soap (someone correct me if I'm wrong) emphasis on damp. the important point is not to use rubbing alcohol or something inside the clamping mech. again i'm basing this off my sd630.

Cool, thanks. I was able to get it apart and clean it. Works much better :-)
