can anyone please tell me what code number i need for black ink for my riso, rn 2550 aw, bought some that said it was for rn machines, had all sorts of problems.

According to the manual configuration code ink is color ink code 587 then this must dial 33 is the code for black ink, also can see what the point of failure by pressing on the numeric keypad *, hope help you, if you have a problem you can write again,

Enter test mode, mode 875 ink color, 33 is black.
