[Misc] GR3770 - possibly thermal print head broken

    Hello everybody!
We have a problem with our GR3770: from one moment to another the master is showing horizontal lines of different widths (see attachment). So a Riso tech I talked to on the phone said from what I told him pretty sure the thermal print head is broken. The error occurs with different drums and when printing from the RIP as well as using the scanner.
I just wanted to ask if you guys can confirm his guess, as he didn't see any prints, from looking at the pics I attached.

In addition, is there anybody from Germany (or Europe) who has a spare thermal print head for a GR 3770 we can buy. Is it possible to repair it by ourselves?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Reseat the connectors to the TPH (may fix the wide white void area- doubt it will do anything for the pencil thin lines) and do the exact same thing as this thread

GR is the model after RA but the idea is essentially the same.
