[Misc] Paper weights for Risograph FR3950

    Hi,

I'm wondering if people with FR3950's would share how thick paper stock you have been able to print with good results. We have heard that it is not recommended to go over 220 gsm or so for our machine, but have tried 240 and 300 gsm, and those turned out pretty well, but they were also just one copy each, so maybe it is not good to print to many. Grateful for anyone with these experiences to share their stories! Thanks in advance.

A properly operating Riso with a thoughtful operator should be able to run a wide variety of paper types and weights.
So if everything else is OK, the machine can run anything from NCR paper to construction paper.

The heaviest paper we run is 100# cover which is 270 gsm, however this really only works for us if we're printing the sheet grain short ie the grain direction of the paper is perpendicular to the direction the paper is feeding.
