[Misc] Xerox DC 252max setup?? :-P

Is it necessary to do a max setup?...I'm more of a Ricoh tech and have a thing called TD and ID sensor Init when I PM the machine.(BW machine) I've serviced a 252 and 260 for awhile now but am just swapping developer for the first time. I've moved developer housings from a donor machine to this one without any issues so was just wondering how necessary and/or involved the max setup is with new developer? Thank you!

It is necessary, yes. To adjusts several Image Quality factors so that optimum copy and print quality can be consistently, by stabilizing the development potential and copy density.
