Riso RZ 220UI Code P-96-569

I installed a new drum in a riso rz 220ui after completing the set up of the drum i get a P-96-569 at power on. If i enter service mode i get a d-4-560. I tried to do the set up again and also checked the information and all seems to be correct. Was wondering if anyone had ran across this before and what corrected the problem.

Not as of yet. contacted riso and have been given the normal try this and let us know routine.

I recall seeing this before, but I don't remember what I ended up doing to fix it. I had replaced the drum PCB and had that code come up after I did. Double check the correct drum size and area is set.

Exchanged drum pcb and rf. problem resolved.

I also encountered the same code while installing a new EZ 200. P96-569 = Either The Print Drum Color Information or Ink Catagory Information Is Still Not Input And D04-560 = Ink Tag Is Not Detected On Ink Bottle

This Error posible Appear if you insert a diffrent type of Drum (Drum EZ-330 To EZ-230). Check that ur drum type is right. and try to Re Installing ur drum.

1. Insert Ink Catridge to drum
2. Switch on the machine and enter the test mode (Do not insert drum to the machine)
3. Insert Drum to the machine pres Reset key if error appear
3. Enter test Mode 117 and start
4. Enter test mode 890 and start (this test mode will copies the ink information eg; ink color, ink catagory, etc onto the print drum PCB
5. Enter test Mode 887 and start (this test mode will pump ink from ink bottle to print drum) and drum will rotate and one page master will clamp to the print drum, wait until ur print drum stop.
6. Switch off and on machine

If ur machine still error try to replace ur Print drum PCB to the new one.
