Hey guys, we recently bought an old RN2100. It keeps showing us the message: "master mis-feed rewind master roll and reset master in place (A01-211)" of course we tried a lot of things (like cleaning and reassembly), but it still doesn't work. Any ideas how to fix this or what could cause this?

Hey there!
I think we had a similar issue on our RN2150.
I seem to remember it having to do with the 12 or so small rubber belts that pull the used master off the drum.
Very often these wear out, loose their elasticity and need to be replaced.
Try to open the top of the machine and then open the master disposal unit (there is a green lever that makes the unit pop open) and have a look at rubber belts. Are they inside their grooves? If not, pop them back in and try again. Are they broken? Too soft? The best is to get a new set and replace them all.
Also try to look at the belts from the back of the machine with the disposal box removed.

Hey there we tried that and every thing seems fine with the rubber bands.
We opend the back to check the cables and everything seems in place. The first sensor on the master feed which tells if there is any input at all also works the error occurs with the second sensor under the metal rail. Also we can only get rid of the error with a hard reset not with pressing the resset button for 3 seconds.Comment
