Just some feedback regarding master disposal belts - I hope this might help some people out (especially as consumable parts become scarce)
I've just had some success replacing the smaller disposal belts with a much cheaper, and more available alternative - O-BANDS (frequently used in plumbing).
I bought some from this company - Industrial & Home Rubber Products Company - Polymax UK. They were kind enough to send me a selection. I've used the 27.5mm diameter bands which have a 1.5mm cross section. I think having a smaller diameter (maybe 25mm) and a thicker band (possibly 1.6mm) might have fitted better - but they're working well so far.
This all stemmed from a persistent A04-303 error (master still on the drum). I think the disposal process was getting messed up when the masters were getting caught in the disposal unit. Touch wood we should be free of that error for a little while...
