More on rp3700 connection problems

Please, excuse my poor english.

After a long wait, I recently got a RP3700. Everything seems to work fine except the common problems (feeding, inking, etc) that i'm solving with the help of this forum.

I've connected the Rp3700 to a Pc running win2000 under VMware with a usb to parallel converted and it worked ok for some weeks, till now.
Some days ago it took me a long to get it connected, but after some reiniciations it managed to work. But now there is no connection and I experiment the same problem that other people.

The RP receives the data, but does noting.

I've reinstalled the driver and the hole virtual machine with no results.
I've tryed an old pc running Win XP with the parallel cable (no converter) and the same; The mesage "Processing data" appears but no master is done.

I'm looking for a Rip, but there are not many chances here where I live.

I've seen some post with the same problem, but not a solution.
Excuse if this topic is resolved elsewhere but i cant' find it

Any suggestions?

Hello again,

Seems that it is solved by now.

Yesterday I made some experiments with another RP3700 and another USB conversor.

Now it is working Ok... Not sure what happened but it seems it has to be with the USBPRNT driver in Windows and/or me not fully resetting the RP.
Hope this helps anyone in my situation.
