RP3700 - a working drum claiming NO INK with new ink cartridges.

Hi All! I am running an RP3700, and I have a problem with one of my drums.


It was working fine, then I inserted a new ink colour, and now it seems to be running dry. The ink doesn't seem to be making it to the surface of the drum, and keeps claiming that there is NO INK.


Everytime I reload the cartridge I can push the back a little to allow some air to push out (which I assumed was the problem).


Can anyone recommend anything?

Just to set the record straight, this was a drum you have used before?
If so how long ago? It's possible the pump has gone bad or dry ink in the pump/lines. I think there is a screen before the pump in the tube that goes into the ink tube.
If you haven't used the drum before, was it set up correctly?
