Riso GR Drum - Part of Ink Pump Removed with Ink Tube

Hi all, I'm running a GR3750. I just went to replace a tube of ink, and upon removing the old tube, this small plastic/rubber component was stuck in the end of the tube (see picture below). Looks like the ink tube pulled out part of the ink pump. Fairly fresh tube of ink as well, so pretty unusual. Has anyone run into this?

From the description you gave it sounds like the part that would provide the inner seal so it could draw ink in properly. Maybe the tube that pulled it out was swollen or generic and grabbed it. Not sure what you'll find in there cause I never had one of those pull out. But the machine is 20+ years old so good luck. Got a parts drum?
