    Ricoh Priport DX4640PD

This one is asking to replace the drum. Can i reset the count in sp mode or does the machine recognize a new drum install and then resets the count? If it can be reset, does anyone know the sp mode to reset the drum count. Thanks

What exact message are you getting? The only thing I find in the user guide is: Drum Unit is not set correctly. The other possibility is you have selected to print in a color and do not have that color of drum installed.

Otherwise, if you are not a trained Ricoh tech on this specific model, put you hands up and walk away. The drum position sensors are easily damaged and the duplex unit is a mechanical nightmare.
