RISO 3750 drum carriage locked - no drum in carriage

RISO 3750 The drum carriage is stuck / locked -There is no drum in the carriage it is empty. The green light will not come on, so we can't pull the carriage out to load an ink drum.
We have tried the power off/on and reset button still nothing ?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated - Thanks

There is a solenoid release that won't actuate without a drum in place. But you can manually release it with a screwdriver, flat blade best. There is a slot just under the carriage. You should be able to insert a thin flat blade screwdriver and release the hook holding the carriage in. If you can't find it, I'll try to find pictures.
    Good luck.
