Problem:Too much ink on Riso RZ990U

Help!! How do I adjust the ink density so that the output is not over-inked. We have tried setting the ink saving mode all the way back and bringing the user mode density all the way back and it still is too heavy. I have done this before but it has been so long since then I have forgotten how to do it.

    Thanks guys!

Hi - you may need to adjust the squeegee pressure balance (less) and adjust/decrease the squeegee gap. Another adjustment is to decrease the TPH power / OHM setting.

In my opinion, the first place to start is with the squeegee gap as previously stated. You can determine where the problem is by using a color or differen drum. If the problem occurs with both drums, the problem is likely with the print head or at least in the machine. If the problem does not occur with the other drum, the drum needs serviced.
