Riso RZ390 drum "alignment arrows" off

    2342.pdf

we're working on a RZ390 that having problems with the drum unit (black drum- doesn't have any color units)

Customer had some sort of problem getting the drum back in.

Attaching photos of black drum and the 2 arrows that should line up on it. Is there some way to adjust that so they line up properly?

Re: Riso RZ390 drum "alignment arrows" off

The arrows line up when the machine is in "home position" (Position B). Have you taken the back cover off the machine and blown out the dust from this sensor and everything else back there? The sensor is on the drive unit for the drum, between the 2 boards a little higher than center in the middle of everything. Pretty hard to miss, 1 screw will take the thing out. If that doesn't work check TM 942 and see if someone has messed with the angle of Position B (default is zero).

The master on the drum looks like portions of the screen and shell pores are clogged or you are just running masters with only the test copy coming out? Has the machine sat in "storage" for a while or is the machine tired out??? If the drum isn't spinning properly internally it can cause overrun as well...

    Hope this helps
