I'm slowly going through a bunch of old Riso drums (RP) and giving them full cleans (to remove caked up ink and/or changing inks). I'm primarily using parts cleaner, mineral spirits, wd-40 and denatured alcohol.
I cannot find any mention in my technical manual (for an RP3700) or on this forum of re-lubricating any of the metal parts. I'm curious if I should be, specifically ones that are metal to metal AND come into direct contact with ink (like the gear inside of the ink pump unit, image below).

Should I be lubricating any of these parts? And are there any parts in general that need to be re-lubricated after a cleaning or part of regular maintenance?
And, if so, what type of lubricant(s) should I be using?
Thanks!
