    Paper Feed Problems Riso EZ591

Good evening everyone, I am having an issue where the machine pulls the paper in about 5" then stops and says jam.
I was told its the timing but i am not sure what to adjust, i have the service manual. any input would be greatly appreciated

    regards

Can we check the counter of the machine?
Have you check the stripper pad? Pick up Rollers?

no feed at all or intermittent jams? J7 as well?
suggest first to clean the registration sensors, probably covered with paper dust (pickup rollers and stripper pad good?).
replacing the one-way gear at the timing roller assembly follows.

First how many copies on the feed tires and sep pad? How many copies on the machine?
Here is a RISO publication on jamming.
              Good luck.

Blow out the paper in sensors. Clean or replace the feed clutch. Replace the one way timing gear

fluttering sound? check the shock absorber pad and replace if worn-out

pad didnt look to worn, just a slight depression. I flipped it over hoping it helps.. doesn't flutter but still pulls paper 3-4 inches and jams

Did you take the clutch apart and clean the red rust off the faces? Did you put it back together so it still free spins?
The timing gear looks like a one way timing gear, sometimes you just have to replace it

I spent a good portion of the long weekend taking the whole thing apart. I went though the service manual and did all the adjustments.
got it running somewhat good, enough to get by but i think i need to replace the clutch it doesnt seem like its 100% working.

thank you for all your help
