RISO GR3750 Problem

Good Day All,

My customer has a GR3750, when an original is placed on the glass, it is being cut off. I have tried placing several ways, tried placing larger paper, covering the area. I do not have a clue where to start on this. I thought maybe they had moved it and shook a wire loose but they didnt or they moved it back to the spot it was the last time I was out. Any way, any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you for your time HeavyD

Is it elongating the image or just shifting it?

Master Problem?

So far it is shifting it, what is coming out on the paper is fine, crisp sharp, no double image or nothing. The master itself has the full image on it (this time) it gave me an error code about the master clamp when I made a new master. Would this be some kind of timing issue and I'm just going at it the wrong way? The first master did not get all of the original on it.
By comparison the copy is off by about 3/4" compared to the original

Sounds like it's a master delivery issue. Start with the set screw on the drive gear for the master roller, they can back out. You can also move the location of the glass a little. I don't think it's 3/4 an inch but it could be minimized.

Go with what Cobiray says and check the load roller pulley.Set screw may have backed out and that is what is causing your problem.

If set screw is tight check this!

I have seen the clamp on top of the drum stick open. When the drum rotates it hits the disposal unit and clamp down grabbing the end of the master that was trying to get loaded. this will make your registration off and throw master loading errors. good luck

Riso Problem

I checked the glass first that seemed like a simple fix, it was not the problem. I will look into that screw and report back thank you all for the help.

Thank you all for your help! The screw was the problem. Now a new question... It seems that I am going to be doing more work on this machine than I had originally thought, where is a good source to get a manual from that covers this machine thoroughly?
My experience is mostly with copiers and this is a different bird all together. Thanks again.
