Riso EZ371 line scraped on prints

Hello, hoping somebody might be able to help me! I'm getting a line on my prints but the line is not on the master so I think it's happening on the way out of the machine. Possibly from the yellow thing (not technical term!) pictured as it's right in the middle of the print and goes all the way to the edge of the paper past the printed area. Riso model EZ371e. Thank you in advance!

That yellow thingy is called the separator (some call it a separator finger). It should be longer; the tip has been broken off. I've attached the pages from the service manual to adjust the separator (GET A SERVICE MANUAL) or call a service tech and then they can replace the broken part too.

    Good luck.
